About Caitlin
Hi, I’m Caitlin, and I provide therapy in Fayetteville, Arkansas for adolescents, college students, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and perinatal mental health. I’m from Texas, where I received my Master of Art degree in Professional Counseling with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas State University. I have years of experience in inpatient, intensive outpatient, school-based, and office-based settings.
I work from a primarily person-centered lens, but also incorporate Adlerian, ACT, CBT, and mindfulness work. I enjoy incorporating expressive arts techniques and outdoor sessions. Sometimes we can process better through music, art, or being out in nature when we can’t find the words to describe how we feel.
I take a trauma-informed, compassionate approach and believe the relationship between counselor and client is a central part of the work. I’m here to work alongside you to gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward the goals we set together. Common areas I work with include anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, life transitions, and self-esteem.
I am a certified Perinatal Mental Health provider (PMH-C), with specialized training in supporting individuals and families before, during, and after pregnancy. This includes navigating fertility concerns, postpartum adjustment, and the transition into parenthood.
I offer therapy in Fayetteville, AR through in-person sessions and virtual appointments by request.
In my free time, you can find me at a local coffee shop, farmers market, or at the park with my son. I love to travel, whether it’s a short weekend trip away or exploring a tropical beach somewhere. I also enjoy cooking and baking- I’m always in search of new recipes to try out!
