Frequently Asked Questions

Can you be my coach and therapist?

Current regulations dictate that we cannot ethically be a

person’s coach AND therapist.

What style of therapy do you practice?

Having knowledge of multiple approaches allows our team to tailor therapy to fit each client. Some of the therapeutic methods used by our team include (but are not limited to) Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Attachment-Based Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Experiential Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, and Family Systems.

Technology Assisted Counseling (TAC) is another great option for clients who can't visit the office in person. These therapy sessions are provided through a HIPAA-compliant technology website.

How long does each therapy session take?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes long; however, these can be shorter or longer depending on the client's needs.

Do you accept insurance or is it cash only?

We accept debit, credit, and HSA cards for coaching and therapy services. We also accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Ambetter, Cigna, QualChoice, Municipal Health, and Aetna for therapy services.

We will also provide a superbill for out-of-network clients and can help with reimbursement. Please reach out with any questions- our goal is to work with you to keep therapy affordable.

Coaching or Therapy: Which is better for you?

Coaching Services (Life, Relationship, Parenting, Career)

  • Not limited by state licensure; you or your coach can be anywhere in the world when meeting.

  • Focuses on the present & future

  • Focuses on wellbeing, relationships, & challenges

  • Confidential (like therapy)

  • If “deeper” work is needed, we might recommend clients add a therapist to their support team.

  • We do not accept insurance for coaching services. Payment is expected at the time of service via credit card.

Therapy

  • All of our staff are currently licensed to provide therapy services in Arkansas.

  • We accept therapy clients who are stable, functional, not in crisis (not in danger of harming themselves or others) & who want to improve their mental health. Clients needing more intensive services would not be a good fit for our work at this time.

Whether you choose therapy or coaching, the time & money spent is an investment in you!
