About Kristen
Welcome- I’m so glad you’re here! I’m Kristen, a Licensed Associate Counselor who values compassion, connection and the healing power of a strong therapeutic relationship. I earned a Master of Science degree with an emphasis in Counseling from John Brown University and have many years of relational work in my background.
My therapeutic style is that from a Person-centered approach and is deeply rooted in Attachment Theory while focusing on creating a supportive and non-judgmental environment. Additionally, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help clients develop insight, build coping strategies, and cultivate emotional regulation and resilience. My goal is to meet clients where they are and walk alongside them as they reclaim their sense of self, strengthen relationships, and move toward meaningful change. Healing is possible, and I am honored to support and empower you on your journey.
I am passionate about helping adolescents, adults, and couples navigate life’s challenges with a supportive, grounded, and evidence-based approach. I have experience working with individuals and couples who struggle with issues such as anxiety, depression, relational distress, trauma, grief, or navigating a life transition, and tailor therapy to each client’s unique goals and needs.
I'm available for both in-person and remote sessions.
In my personal time, I value spending it with my family and friends. I am passionate about traveling and experiencing new things and have a fondness for being outdoors. You can often times find me playing tennis, a hobby I have grown to love. Being physically active is important to me, and spending quality time with my loved ones is what really matters most!
